Osasuna Begins Preparations for Villarreal Match

Los Rojillos to Train Behind Closed Doors at El Sadar

Club Atlético Osasuna returned to training Tuesday morning with an open-door session after defeating Rayo Vallecano 3-1 on Saturday. Los Rojillos have started preparations for Saturday’s matchup against Villarreal at El Sadar Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. CET (3:15 p.m. GMT, 10:15 a.m. ET). The training session featured possession, offensive and defensive drills, and small-sided games.

Midfielder Aimar Oroz worked indoors due to a right foot contusion sustained from a tackle in the previous match. Forward Iker Benito continues to recover from an ACL injury.

Osasuna will train behind closed doors on Wednesday at El Sadar. On Thursday, the team will practice at the Tajonar Sports Complex, with the session closed initially before opening to the public around 11:20 a.m. Los Rojillos will wrap up preparations Friday with an open-door session at Tajonar.
